מיכל אורבך רכשה את השכלתה האמנותית ב"אורנים" טבעון, בלונדון ובפריס בין השנים 1959-1966.
במשך 25 שנים עסקה בהוראת אמנות בכל הרמות.
עבודותיה בתחומי הציור, הרישום וההדפס הוצגו בארץ ובאירופה בתערוכת יחיד ובתערוכות קבוצתיות.
כיום היא חיה, יוצרת ומלמדת בסטודיו שלה, בקרית האמנים בצפת.
Michal Auerbach studied art at Oranim, Tivon, Israel, London and Paris until 1966.
For 25 years taught art at all levels, specializing in drawing, painting, and woodcuts.
Her work was exibited in collective and individual exhibitions in Israel and Europe and owned by private collectors. She now lives, works and teaches from her studio in The artist quarter, Tsfat.
